The Scotch Single Malt Circle Tasting feat. Maggie Miller

We are proud that we may welcome the legendary Maggie Miller for our Scotch Single Malt Circle tasting. The Scotch Single Malt Circle bottlings are compared to those of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society and that is very normal. Together with her husband Bill she wanted to start a subsidiary of SMWS in Germany but they didn’t receive the permission to do so. Then they decided to create their own variation and this lead to the Scotch Single Malt Circle.

Maggie’s husband Bill deceased in March 2015, but luckily for us Maggie kept bottling and with great success.

The club has bottled 229 casks and we are going to taste some of the “older” bottlings:

* Springbank 1997 55.1%
* Dallas Dhu 1974 61.4%
* Bunnahabhain 1980 54.1%
* Benrinnes 1984 57.5%

Those who already tried the latest releases available in the shop and in our bar know that we can expect a tasting from high quality. It’s a unique opportunity to try some of their older bottlings from this bottler.
